Ward 116 Councillor, Adolf Marema’s home was reportedly almost set on fire by vengeful residents of Alex.
Rumor has it that chaos has erupted leading to a brawl between him and the residents.
It remains unclear what may have caused the hullabaloo.
Marema is said to be under police watch for 24 hours.
When contacted, Marema said, “This morning I was arrested, but it was dismissed.
“I’ve been in the custody of the police.”
