“The law failed us…we were hoping that this culprit will be removed from the society as children are not safe. I wonder who will be next,” fumed a sister of one of the girls.

The alleged rapist appeared in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court today, 16 January, 2023. But the family of the victims allegedly got the shock of their lives when they were informed that the docket was nowhere to be found.

His next court appearance is on the 24 February. He first appeared in court and was kept in custody after being arrested in December 2022.

Alex police station commander, Brigadier Lindiwe Magudulela said although she wasn’t mandated to speak for the courts, the rumors was  fake.

Alex Reporter then spoke to Detective Chauke who handles the case in question.

We don’t lose dockets in this unit. That docket is with the prosecutor…the information is false,” said Chauke.

The irate members of the community wanted to skin the suspect alive before being apparently saved by the police.

This after the man, pictured, allegedly raped girls aged 5, 7 and 8 in Alex.

The girls allegedly broke the silence and revealed what the man did to them. “One of the kids is my brother’s daughter.

” They said this man always offered them sweets, invited them inside his house, touched their private parts and put his penis in their vaginas,” said a 38-year-old woman.

The man in his 70s, allegedly stays alone and survives through fixing appliances.

She said the girls were taken for medical observations and given medication, “but they are really not ok”.

” He used to call me long time ago while I was still young, offering me sweets, but I didn’t have time for that.

“I believe there are more cases because I heard that it was not the first rape case he’s been accused of.

“I feel that this man is a monster. He must rot in jail because he really destroyed these girls’ lives.

“I used to see such stories in the media and never thought it would happen to us,” said the woman.
