Woman buried with her three kids she killed. Fourth child survived

A 35-year-old woman and her three children, from Jabavu in Port St John’s in the Eastern Cape province buried today, Wednesday 20.

Ntombizanele Mntsizela, reportedly poisoned her four children with aluminum phosphide, before taking her own life. A fourth child survived the incident.

The police said their preliminary investigation found that the family was desperately poor and the mother had become dejected.

This is the second case of its kind in the Eastern Cape in just over a month.
