Student at Minerva High School in Alexandra committed suicide.
The girl was reportedly raped by her step-father.
She is believed to have reported the rape to her mother. And since she didn’t get her support, she apparently decided to kill herself.
Allegedly, her mother wanted to keep the rape case secret.
The suicide reportedly occurred on June 17, 2021.
Her mother, before she was arrested, is alleged to have packed her man’s clothes so that the community could not catch him.
Numerous people who commented on the page, said she was a brilliant learner.
Spokesperson for Alexandra Police, Simphiwe Mbatha’s phone was not answered when approached for comment.
