ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba has promised to better the lives of residents of Johannesburg, should his party be elected into office.

The party launched its manifesto on Wednesday in Johannesburg in preparation for the local elections to be held on November 1, 2021.

Mashaba outlined his party’s position on corruption, declaring it enemy number one on his agenda.

Earlier this month, ActionSA painted Alexandra green on their door-to-door campaign led by Mashaba, where he promised residents the provision of services.

“I call on the people to participate more in politics so that they can know the power of voting,”Mashaba said.

One of the local candidates for Action SA in Alexandra is former DA member Ernest Buthelezi from Ward 75 which includes the notorious Madala Hostel.

Buthelezi asked Alexandra residents to vote for ActionSA for their betterment.

“In my ward there is lack of service delivery. There are potholes on the roads, running sewer and bucket toilets,” he said.

Buthelezi, has last week helped the victims of fire that destroyed dozens of shacks. The trail of destruction caused by fire left many families destitute at 4th Avenue, behind Madala Hostel.

It remains to be seen if ActionSA will enjoy the majority support in Alexandra in the next municipal elections.
