Gauteng Education MEC, Mr Panyaza Lesufi, will, today, pay a visit to Khensani Primary School in Soshanguve, Tshwane.

Lesufi’s school visit follows disturbing allegations of sexual assault against a Grade 1 learner at the school earlier this month.

“We need to ensure that we keep our schools safe for all – from the learners to the educators and non-teaching staff; especially those who are vulnerable.

“We will be engaging the school and other stakeholders to get to the bottom of this matter to ensure that we keep predators of young children as far away from our schools as possible,” the MEC said.
