Nigerian thug, carrying 2.5 million worth of drugs, caused the police van to capsize

A police van lost control and capsized when police were trying to chase Mercedes Benz on the R37 road. The incident happened at Burgersfort Town, between Tubatse Crossing and Burgersfort Mall.

 

The driver was transporting drugs when patrol officers spotted his  suspicious vehicle.

 

The driver, a Nigerian national, drove away when the police tried to stop him during the stop and search operation.

 

After the wounded police officers were unable to catch the thug, the Lydenburg police arrested him.

 

He was found possessing drugs with a market value of R2.5 million.

 

The wounded policemen were rushed to the hospital  for treatment.
