Man stabs sister-in-Law to death over a meal

Mokwakwaila police outside Tzaneen arrested a 59-year-old man for stabbing his sister-in-law with an object after fighting over a meal.

 

The suspect reportedly went to his brother’s house, where he gets his daily meals, and demanded for a meal that was not ready by the time he arrived.

 

Police said, the suspect’s brother works in Gauteng province.

 

“The dispute ensued in front of the deceased’s daughter. The suspect stabbed Dikeledi Gloria Rakubu (38) on the chest.

 

“Dikeledi from the village of Ga-Matipane was pronounced dead by EMS personnel on the scene.

 

“The 59-year-old suspect, who is the deceased’s brother-in-law, was subsequently arrested by Mokwakwaila police and charged with murder.

 

“Investigation is still continuing. The suspect will appear before Bolobedu Magistrate’s Court this morning”, said Sergeant Tinyiko Manganye.
