Pastor and leader of the AACUM party, Mr. Benjamin, was among the suspects arrested in an alleged heist plot.
Benjamin Moafrika Wa Maila, a Hammanskraal advocate, pastor, and President of the AACUM party, was among those who were arrested on Sunday for having unlicensed guns and fake police car registration plates.
The suspects, including two SAPS officers, were reportedly planning a cash-in-transit heist in Mafikeng, North West.
The arrest took place as they were parked under a bridge on the N4 highway in a white Ford Ranger.
The man if God was arrested along with two police officers on the N4.
They appeared at Pretoria North Court on Tuesday and will appear again next week for a bail application.
