Malamulele resident who raped five boys for two years to appear in court

A 43-year-old man is due to appear before the Malamulele Magistrate’s Court for the rape of five boys aged 12 and 15.

 

The accused, who resides in Phugwana outside Malamulele, is accused of raping the boys in his shack situated in the bush.

 

Sergeant Busisiwe Khuzwayo, spokesperson for Malamulele Saps, said the culprit owns an orchard in the area where the incidents occurred.

 

Khuzwayo told Mashamba Media that an investigation was carried out after a teacher at Xilumi Primary School noticed a certain behavior of the pupils in the classroom.

 

She said the teacher conducted her investigation where the teenage boys confirmed they had been sexually assaulted by the man.

 

“It is further alleged by the five victims that they were sexually assaulted by this perpetrator in his shack on different occasions,” said Khuzwayo.

 

Khuzwayo said the incidents had been occurring for two years, while the parents were unaware.

 

According to her, the local doctor, after examining the two juveniles, established sexual penetration into both.

 

She said the other victims have yet to be examined by the doctors.

 

The suspect is faces charges of two sexual assaults, while investigation continues.
