Four armed thugs nabbed

Members of Germiston flying squad have arrested four suspect on Friday morning.

The cops were conducting their high way normal patrols and conducting and search when the Avanza motor vehicle grey in colour was stopped.

Constable Doris Nkosi, spokesperson for the Heidelberg SAPS, said the police asked to search the driver and occupants of the vehicle.

She said that the four African men were ordered out of the vehicle for a search.

” And all four African males where found in possession of unlicensed firearm.

“The African males are from KZN and Zulu speaking. When preliminary investigation was conducted, it was found that the suspects had a mission that they were suppose to complete tomorrow morning 2023-01-14 in Daveton related to taxi violence.

“This information was found in one of the suspect phone massages,” said Nkosi.

Nkosi said four 9mm pistols were found and confiscated by the police.

“42 x rounds were found and seized by the police,
(5 x magazines were found and seized,” she said.

According to Nkosi, the thugs were arrested in Heidelberg SAPS , and they will soon appear before the Heidelberg Magistrate’s Courts soon.
