Colbert Mahlangu, affectionately known as King Malabulabu Wamosione, is a musician of revered talent.
When we spotted him, at Alex Plaza this week, he was getting ready for a great performance.
The Muso who started singing in 2005 has already recorded 6 albums.
The father of three who resides at Orange Farm, says fans connect to his sound when he’s wearing dirty clothes. He says his staged looks and unique voice make fans cry because both make a great combination.
Malabulabu has the voice that makes you wanna cry even when the message is not painful.
He says that with his music, he’s already travelled a lot. However, he argued if he had listened to the bad advice that there is no money in music, he could have already quit.
“I didn’t listen to that. Now I was able to build my family a complete 10 room at home, “said the man who only survives in music.
He advised future musos not to follow everybody’s advice, as there were those who always discouraged others.
