With her dedication and expertise, Sbongile Tshabalala ‘Sbos’ has lately helped the community of Alex and neighborhood with gymnastics.

She provided free aerobics to them through her Fitness Family Club.

The event took place on February recently at  Kwa- Bhekilanga Sports ground in Alex.

The event, co-organized by ward 105 councilor Teffo Raphadu, was supported by Alex Biokinetics, Copt, Sanca and the city of Johannesburg.

The purpose of the event was to remind Alex residents of the significance of gymnastics.

According to Sbos, Alex Biokinetics is the vehicle that creates a quality of life through physical activities.

She said she felt blessed, honored and humbled by the success of the event.

“People of Alex have truly shown that they are willing to do regular exercises. And in the process, it will reduce diabetes, joint pain, obesity, and so forth.

“I am very happy that we had more than 100 people, young and old who came to the event, and it was our first event,” Sbos said.

She said the event was attended by different clubs such as FFF Health Club from Norwood, Run Alex, River Park Aerobics, Altrec Gigi’s Gym, among others.

“It shows how much people want to look after their health and bodies. I just want to thank everybody for their love and support, as well as the people who sponsored us: Dlozi’s Car Wash, Silence Inn, Copt, Sanca and Vuma Fibre Reach.

“I hope to hosting more events like that in future,” said.
