Recent compilation of horrible crimes committed in Alexandra

CARJACKING

An Ivory Park resident was busy delivering parcels to the customers when he saw a guy in the driver’s mirror holding a gun in his hand.

The incident occurred on Friday 2021/10/22 around 11:30 a.m.

Jabu Mabasa (29) said there was no way for him to turn back or drive fast because the road was over.

According to Mabasa, the man with the gun immediately pointed the gun at him.

“There were also two men coming from behind. I then got out of the vehicle because I was scared of my life and fled.”

Mabasa was driving a Nissan NP 200 in white, with a white canopy.

The vehicle was transporting mobile phones totaling R253 850.00.

The vehicle was recovered from no 20-17th Alexandra Ave without the phones.

HOUSE ROBBERY

The victim alleged that on Sunday 21/10/17 at around 00:00 he was on Lolo Kekana Street, Tsutsumani when he heard a bang at the door.

When he asked who the person was, the trespasser pulled the door and opened it a bit. Soon after, the thug started firing a gun at the door and demanded entry.

When the victim unlocked the door, he noticed another stranger.

The police spokesman, Sergeant Mbatha, said the victim was ordered to lie on the ground.

“They took his wallet with sixty rands inside and the cellphone Sumsang J1 worth eight thousand rands and left.

“The suspects are unknown in this case,” Mbatha said.

MURDER

On Sunday 2021-10-24 at approximately 23:20 the police received a complaint from the control regarding the ongoing shootout.

When the police came to the scene, they found an African male dressed in black lying on the street.

The source informed the police that the dead man’s name was Rivalani Ngobeni who was his friend.

According to Mbatha, the deceased had telephoned the friend to come to Seventh Avenue.

“While they were busy talking, he heard a sound of a firearm. He then went to Seventh Avenue, where he found his friend lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his neck, left shoulder and head.

“Roleplayers were summoned to the scene and the deceased was taken to the government morgue in Hillbrow,” Mbatha said.

Ngobeni (26) resided in 58-8th Alexandra Avenue.

 

MURDER

On Sunday 2021-10-24, police received a complaint from control regarding the unnatural death in the Alexandra Clinic.

When they arrived, they were told that a man brought by his family had been stabbed in the abdomen and had sustained numerous head injuries.

The family member told the police that the deceased, Sibabalo, was stabbed at 126-12th Avenue Alexandra.

Mbatha said the woman ran to the address where she found the deceased on the floor, bleeding heavily.

After arranging transportation, she was told by a community member that the suspect was known as Thabani.

While awaiting the transport to the clinic, Thabani reportedly came with an axe and tried to finish the deceased.

The deceased was certified dead on arrival at Alexandra Clinic.

“The suspect was arrested and detained at Alexandra SAPS.

The deceased was known as Sibabalo Mutumutu, 123-13th Avenue Alexandra.

The suspect was identified as Thabani Caciso, who lives at 126-12th Alexandra Avenue.
