The doctor, known by the community under the name of Jobe, is now the enemy of some members of the Dudula Movement.

Jobe is also a local property developer who offers apartments for rental in First Park, Tsutaumani.

He is alleged to have purchased an RDP house from a foreign national who received an eviction notice from Dudula.

According to Babalo Moloi, leader of the Dudula Movement, the Zimbabwean woman has received seven days’ notice to vacate the RDP house .

Moloi said they believed she got the RDP fraudulently.

“That was our agreement with the woman. But within those seven days, she had already arranged a buyer in the name of Jobe.

“When Jobe found out we disapproved of the sale of the RDP, he came in with a TLB when we were not around and demolished it, ” claimed Moloi.

When our news team arrived, the RDP was already destroyed with debris scattering.

“Our problem as Dudula is that whenever we want to take RDPs owned by foreign nationals, Jobe exceeds us and buys them,” Moloi alleged.

Alex Reporter journors visited the caretaker who works for Jobe, to ask for his boss’ numbers.

“Because of this problem that my boss has with Dudula, I cannot give you the number.

“He just called me and instructed that I shouldn’t give his number to anybody until this problem is solved.

“And again, my boss won’t be available on this number this week because of this noise,” says Caretaker.

After we obtained his number from other locals, we tried in vain to contact him, as the number was disconnected.
