Two men, reportedly members of Dudula Operation, were attacked when they allegedly attempted to evict the homeowner.

The incident took place last night around 9:00 on 22nd Avenue, Alexandra.

The two men were unfortunately greeted by angry members of the community who retaliated and horrifically injured them.

According to Dudula’s Chairman, Simon Msayza, the assaulted men are Sibiya and Moloi.

“One is in ICU and the other was taken by the police,” Msayza said.

Msayza confirmed that the men were members of Dudula.

However, he said that he does not know who gave them a mandate to do what they did and blamed them for their actions.

“Dudula never works at night. And we never hide our faces,” says Msayza, adding he was at the police station to understand what transpired.

Both men were alleged to have carried weapons before being assaulted.

In the video, the police are seen with the visibly injured man who was limping as he walked.
