Bonolo is a multi-singer and songwriter from Orange Farm, Johannesburg.
She was discovered by Melodia Music in Nov 2022 and has been in studio honing and perfecting her craft ever since.
She is ready to release her debut album and take the South African music industry by storm.
Her debut single Pelo Ya Pompa featuring DJ Sneja is a unique fusion of AmaPiano and her native Sotho music genre Koriana tsa ba Sotho.
One can clearly hear the Sotho influence in the accordion instrument which features strongly in the beat of the song.
The song Pelo ya Pompa is a mature love song about the patience of a woman who is in love with a hard-working man. The story talks about the pressures the relationship faces from family and friends.
Bonolo in her lyrics reassures her man that she loves him dearly, but also encourages him to bring her dowry so that together, they can appease her family.
The gifted muso has a bright future ahead of her. Her personality and big smile will win many fans over. She has an exciting year ahead of her with plenty of music releases and content lined up for 2023.
