PRINCE NDLOVU REMANDED IN CUSTODY

The case of murder against a 25-year-old man Prince Ndlovu has been postponed to 11 November 2020 for further investigations.

Ndlovu is accused of killing Jabulile Nkosi who was found with bullet wounds in her body earlier in September near the Jukskei River park in West bank.

National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) Gauteng spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane had previously said that the suspect did not apply for bail, instead he has applied for legal aid assistance in the matter.

“We believe that we have a strong case against him, also investigations are continuing to establish if he committed other crimes.”

Ndlovu, a Zimbabwean national who worked as a taxi driver, was arrested by police who say they have ‘strong evidence’ linking him to the murder.

Nkosi (18) was a learner at the East Bank high school. Different community organizations picketed outside court opposing the bail release of the murder accused.
