Award-winning filmmaker, media tertiary institution’s founder, musician and author Dr Frank released the highly anticipated album.

The well-cooked album, Imela, is supported by a single titled ‘Your Grace’ featuring Candy Tsamandebele and ‘I don’t Mind’, featuring Maumela, who is known by the general public as Susan on SABC 2’s flagship soapie Muvhango.

The album was conceptualized after releasing his debut book ‘No One Is Coming For you’.

The album was recorded at Dr Frank’s studio based in Randburg, the same area where the AACA (African Academy of Cinematic Arts), a creative arts and media tertiary institution, (which was co-founded by Maumela Mahuwa) is based.

The production of ‘Your Grace’ was handled by Dr Frank himself, co-writing the song with Candy Tsamandebele.

Dr Frank and Candy first worked together on the latter’s previous single ‘Siku Ne Siku’ featuring Nonny D.

The song was the first single of Candy Tsamandebele’s South African Music Award winning album, Hupenyu Unenge Viri.
Imela is being described as a masterpiece of musical cocktail!

Dr Frank has produced a wide range of compelling content over the years, including music videos, films, commercials, documentaries, drama series, including his debut book ‘No One Is Coming For You’.

He is known for a unique, African sound; evident in most of his projects including Imela.
