The AGB Foundation, registered in 2020 and founded in 2015 by Archbishop Gladstone Botwana of Zoe Bible Church, came out to donate food packages to the Bombani Shelter.

Prioritizing seniors, youth and victims of gender-based violence, the foundation followed its first anti-GBV event in 2020 at the TTC Bara Hospital.

In line with the commemoration of Mandela Day and the beginning of Women’s Month, the foundation delivered food and clothing parcels at Bombani Shelter for abused women and children in Alexandra on the 1st of August.

Musician and actor, Sicelo Buthelezi, affectionately known as Seekay, renowned chef Sibu Nyembe and the Cake Chamber joined the foundation in the events of the day.

Before handing over the parcels of food and clothing, the word of the day was shared and that was followed by various addresses by representatives of the AGB’s executive board and on behalf of Bombani Shelter.

The day was rounded off with a presentation of the parcels and a meal with a specially designed cake.
