Three people were declared dead on Tuesday morning the at around 09:25 at Sky City in the Alberton area.

Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Thokoza Precinct Officers attended to an accident involving a white Mercedes-Benz truck and a Nissan light delivery vehicle (LDV).

Three (3) people including the driver of the LDV were declared dead on the scene and four (4) others were taken to Thelle Mogorone Hospital with serious injuries.

It is alleged by the driver of the truck who was travelling on R550, that the driver of the LDV failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with the truck.
