Desmond Khumbuza’s book “There’s a light at the end of the Tunnel”
is inspired to motivate people who are losing hope in life.

“Many people are losing the battle because of lack of motivators and mentors. So this book is there to help them pick up the pieces.

“It will enable them to keep going with their hopes and wishes,” says the author, Khumbuza.

Khumbuza said his great book, with 200 pages will extremely leave the reader energised and changed.

“They will face tomorrow with a positive attitude. They will see life in another angle since they will be motivated,” he says.

This is his second book. The first book is called “God Loves Orphans” published by his label called Tsakani publishers.

He wishes and encourages that people should develop the spirit of reading.

“I wish everyone would stand up and support my book project.

“I would also like them to engage in reading. Let’s make our country a nation that reads.

” After reading, people will see things differently, because in reading we gain more values and discipline.

“The more we read, the better ways we have to tackle issues,” he says.

Khumbuza is the first born son of Mr Thompson Khumbuza and the late Mrs Saustinah Baloyi.

He was born and raised in Giyani, Khakhala village, the same place where he attended his primary school before going to Muhawu High School where he completed matric.

He studied at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and graduated with a degree in Marketing Management.

He says he began writing at the elementary level.

“I was very good at writing essays and compiling stories for my fellow students.

“My English teacher ma’m Mokoena realised that I had a talent for writing which had to be refined,” says Khumbuza.

“I chose to write books because it’s a quick way to deliver messages to people.

“I want to add value to people’s lives; I want to empower them and restore their dignity.

“I always urge people to read to become more knowledgeable and wise.”

Khumbuza sees himself having a talk show under his label that will help the vulnerable.

His upcoming book will be launched on the 11th of November 2022.
