A renowned philanthropist Thomo Nkgadima has been helping the vulnerable. This time he reached out to Sylvia Monyela of Ga Phasha Selatole village outside Burgersfort in Limpopo.

The mother of the four innocent youths who horribly lost their lives in the hands if their father, was enthused and overwhelmed with joy and happiness.

Monyela, an orphaned mother, said she was so grateful for the food packages.

“This should be the beginning, not the end, of helping those in need. May God give you the power to keep helping others. I grew up without parents and survived on social grants,” she said.

Nkgadima said that it was unfair for the government to continue to look after those who have wronged society and feed them at the expense of taxpayers.

“What about law abiding citizens and victims of crime?” Nkgadima said he was very touched when Monyela described the horrific and gruesome details of what she witnessed first-hand on February 18, 2020.

She is now looking for work to stay busy and forget the brutality of her children. “I want to move on with my life,” she said.

Lucas Phasha, was sentenced to four life sentences for the heinous murder of her own children.

Monyela is now calling for help to restore her dignity and entitlement to adequate housing.

Phasha’s mother and his brother Tony are said to have taken all the furniture from the house where the Monyela and her husband lived.

They blame her for giving testimony in court against a man who murdered his four children.
