Tshepo “TDK” Dikeledi, a well-known and dedicated crime fighter from Berries in Orlando, Soweto, was tragically shot and killed outside his home around 7pm.
Residents reported hearing multiple gunshots — a chilling sound that has sadly become routine in the area. It was only when neighbours rushed out to investigate that they discovered the victim was TDK, a respected community security officer who had dedicated his life to protecting others.
Shocked community members describe Tshepo as a fearless, passionate, and dependable protector who never hesitated to respond when danger called. His death leaves a painful void in Orlando, with many saying the neighbourhood has lost not just a crime fighter, but a hero.
