Siziwe Mfoxu (27) is still traumatized following the horrible assault she allegedly endured in the hands of patrollers and her aunt.

During our interview, the mother of two from 15th Vasco had horrific marks on her body left by the beating as the patrollers allegedly used sjamboks.

Last week, Siziwe, who experienced the loss of both her parents at a young age, had a dispute with her aunt about a two-room apartment she lived in as a child.

The house was left by their grandmother and they have been staying together for many years. Their dispute over it had been going on for a while, but this time, the aunt claimed to have called the patrollers.

” They arrived before 7am, and I was still asleep. I was wearing a light dress with no bra and panty when they dragged me to Marlboro ground next to Thoko Mngoma Clinic.

“They came with a certain lady ( suspect of crime), tied us up, poured water, and hit us horribly. My aunt joined in and they heavily sjamboked me for almost 30 minutes without listening to my side of the story,” alleged a devastated woman.

According to her, two female patrollers and her aunt were the ones hitting her. She says it was a humiliating scene as her private part was exposed to the male patrollers who had watched her suffer.

“It was sexual harassment because I wasn’t wearing a bra or panties,” she said.

The Chairperson of Alexandra patrollers, Spider, said,” I was not aware of this incident and we do not condone such behavior. Kindly provide me with the lady’s details, I will engage her further! Thanks for bringing the matter to my attention.”

Alexandra Patrollers Chief in Command, King Tsonga said he will speak with the K15 patrollers.

Siziwe’s aunt, aged 40, was arrested and charged with assault and kidnapping. Due to alleged threats, she had to cancel the case.

” I don’t feel safe. Someone who loves you can’t do that,” she said.

Despite having forgiven her aunt, she states that she still sees the patrollers coming to her place and engaging her aunt.

According to reports, her two brothers have turned into street kids after being allegedly chased out of the same house.
