Four armed suspects stormed into Pep Stores at Alex Plaza this afternoon, locking staff members and customers inside a storeroom before making off with cash and vouchers.
The incident took place at around 1pm. According to initial reports, the suspects fled with a R1,000 voucher and an undisclosed amount of money.
According to the security guards we spoke to, no injuries or personal robberies of staff and customers were reported.
Police are investigating the matter, and more details will be released as the story develops.
