CHAOS erupted when a Mozambican woman allegedly destroyed her own salon after she was reportedly told by members of the March and March Movement to shut down her business and return to Mozambique.
Witnesses claim the furious salon owner went on a rampage, smashing and damaging expensive equipment while declaring that no one would benefit from the business she had built.
The woman allegedly demanded R100,000 before she would leave her salon. When the money was not forthcoming, she reportedly began destroying the property herself.
The incident has sparked heated debate on social media as tensions around foreign-owned businesses continue to make headlines.
