Award-winning Tsonga music sensation, Rhudza De Prod, has reportedly lost his home in a fire, leaving him and his family without shelter.
The musician took to Facebook to confirm the heartbreaking news, revealing that nothing could be saved from the blaze.
“Some of you may have heard, I’m here to confirm that it’s true. Nothing came out—fortunately, there was no one in the house. We are all safe, but we currently have no shelter. Life is a book of joy and sorrow,” he shared.
The artist, originally from Malamulele in Limpopo, said that although the damage is extensive, he is grateful that no lives were lost.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this stage.
Fans and fellow artists have already started sending messages of support as the popular Tsonga star faces one of the toughest moments of his life.
