A 28-year-old man was shot dead at Madala Hostel in Alexandra this morning.
Celokuhle Goge, a security guard, was from night shift when he met his untimely death.
He was apparently shot five times and died on the spot.Alex police are investigating a case of murder.
The deceased and his brother both worked for Maxi Security company at Linbro Park and were together at thier work place in the morning before they parted ways.
A security officer who works for 24/7 Security company, said he also saw the deceased in the morning.
“We met and greeted each other on the way in Linbro park when I was going for dayshift and he was coming back from night shift.
“I was very shocked when I heard his death. I still can’t believe what I heard,” said the officer.
