ROBERTVILLE – Thugs thought they hit the jackpot when they bombed a cash-in-transit van on Main Reef Road between Nadine and Robert Streets. They rolled up heavy in a silver Audi A4, a white BMW, and a VW Amarok, blasting the van wide open.
But when the smoke cleared? ZERO CASH.
The van was dry. Empty. Nada.
The thugs were left fuming, burning one of their getaway rides before fleeing the scene with nothing to show for it. Firefighters and cops swooped in, put out the flames, and locked down the area.
