The case of murder against a 25-year-old man, Prince Ndlovu, has been postponed to 21 January 2021 for further investigations.

Ndlovu is accused of killing Jabulile Nkosi who was found with bullet wounds in her body in September near the Jukskei River Park in West Bank, Alexandra.

National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) Gauteng spokesperson Phindi Njonondwane had previously said the suspect did not apply for bail, but instead he has applied for legal aid assistance in the matter.

“We believe that we have a strong case against him, also investigations are continuing to establish if he committed other crimes.”

Ndlovu, a Zimbabwean national who worked as a taxi driver, was arrested by police who said they have ‘strong evidence’ linking him to the murder.

Nkosi (18) was a learner at the East Bank High School.

Different community organisations picketed outside the Alexandra Magistrate’s court opposing the bail release.

A picketer was furious over the postponement.

“Why do they keep on postponing the case?

“It is clear that Prince has killed Jabulile.”
