Gender-based violence (GBV) originates within our communities and families. And it goes together with bullying. We learn all those things from home.
Abuse spreads from the elderly to children. We grow up with it, and once it appears, it violates the law, and that requires public education.
The message must go to all parents because they have the power to educate and groom their children how to respect other people.
As parents, we must ensure that we invest positive energy in our kids.
Let’s train them to handle emotions without believing in perfection.
As parents, we must think about our children.
We need to change the way we prepare our children to end gender-based violence, to end this inequity.
Parents need to build this nation for a change. We must stop expecting the government to solve all social problems.
