Through life skills, coaching and together with book-smart you can make it in life. Education has various forms and dimensions.
These are words from Fortunate Twala, former Mrs Mrs Commonwealth SA 2019, and former Mrs South Africa Semi-finalist 2020 (Top 50).
“I learnt to strive and turned my problems into growth and opportunities.AIn my previous employment (South African Airways), branding and values were part of my everyday life.
“I have had to learn to create a culture of accountability and I have always adopted a high degree ofmy personal.
“However, My personal journey toward growth has not been easy,”she says.
Twala launches her business themed ‘Know your value and thrive’. The much-anticipated event will take place at the Cuisino Melrose Arch starting at 1 pm on June 16.
She said during her time at SAA, where she worked as a flight attendant for 17 years, she noticed a thirst for knowledge and assistance in the eyes of the community.
“There was an appetite for motivation, inspiration and development. I was responsible for helping where I could. But to do it effectively, I had to reinvent myself to be able to do it.”
She says her coaching skills will help people take ownership and bring their inner beauty to life.
“It will assist you, guide you and make it easier for you to be the best version of yourself. You can become anything you want because society cannot box you. Your possibilities are always endless,” says a social entrepreneur who consistently aims to solve and find solutions that directly addresses social issues.
Born and raised in the community of Alexandra Township, she studied Marketing at Vega School of Brand Advertising & Communication as well as Computer Literacy at Alexan Kopano Research Centre.
Apart from being a wife and mother of two, Twala is founder of Zandile Day Care Centre, co-founder of Qoqizizwe Care for the aged. She is a philanthropist, recently an Ambassador for Kgosatsana Wealth Creations and the Face of Lindarella Cosmetics.
She steps proudly into her role with grace when it comes to serving, whilst confidently wearing her womanhood motivating and aspiring other women to step into theirs.
She says that growing up in Alex, substance abuse and teenage pregnancy seemed normal as going to the store. However, she believes that situations shouldn’t define someone’s journey.
“These are generally characteristics that are found in many communities all over Africa and around the world. I found out over the course of my travels. But I am here to inspire you to start your journey to success through the strategies and techniques I have used in my personal development.
“Your dreams, goals and plans will not be fulfilled unless you act. My services will help you lead a successful life with a clear action plan to grow and remain motivated.
“You’re an extraordinary person. Despite COVID-19 and everything that happens around you, you can always dream. Believe that anything is possible.”

I quote “Beauty is not in the face, beauty is a light in the heart”.
Life can be challenging and at times downright hand. Not every day is lined with happiness and blissful moments.
We have all been there, and when we find ourselves in that place, there is nothing better than a sweet sister or a friend holding your hand through it all, and slightly adjusting your crown.
True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul, the way she treats other people, the way she exhibits joy, her confidence in the parts of her that make her unique.
Our nations, communities, families need to develop a culture in our society of empowering women, girls and boys with confidence and capabilities.
Being a woman you are always wearing your invisible crown. Fixing a crown of another woman without saying much, that gentle and a quite approach where we only desire to help, not to broadcast it; it doesn’t become coffee conversations nor does it become part of a prayer circle.
We can become the kind of woman who wants to be HOPE, and hold truth and confidence in our hands.
I ask this question , What if you upgrade yourself? When you take that first step, you become so self-confident, sure-footed and happy within yourself that you realize that you needed nothing else.
Know your value and evolve, because when you’re completely blended with the wholeness of who you are, a force to be reckoned with, you already have everything you’d ever need the moment you were born, nothing comes from the outside.
